The Sacre-Coeur is located at Paris' highest point at 420 feet. "This five-domed, Roman-Byzantine-looking basilica took 44 years to build (1875-1919)." It also took a lot of uphill walking and many stairs for us to get to it - a true Parisian workout.
These steps were most entertaining. Frenchmen sing in English! We heard all of our 'Top 40' hits played, sung and rapped on these steps, and then it's back to speaking French.
