Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa

She lives in The Louvre as well, but I thought she needed her own post!

"After several years and a 5 million euro renovation, Mona is alone behind a glass on her own false wall. Six million heavy-breathing people crowd in each year to glimpse the most ogled painting in the world."

She is tiny! Luckily, I was forewarned on many occasions, so Mona did not disappoint. You certainly want to save her for last at The Louvre.


I foud it so interesting that Mona is opposite the largest canvas I've ever seen. I wonder what made the museum choose this juxtaposition?
