The Baguette

It really is carried everywhere!

Champ de Mars

We spent some time just having fun on the public greenspace in front of the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars:

I could have spent our entire honeymoon on this lawn. Being there was a dream come true!

To the Top!

The Eiffel Tower is said to be the most visited monument in the modern world, and I believe it. The wait time to get to the top was two to three hours... Yikes!

Luckily, we learned we could make reservations in advance. This was the best kept secret! We literally walked right up to the elevator and went straight to the top! The views from 'Le Sommet' at 900 feet were wow:

Seine

Arc de Triomphe

La Tour Eiffel

I've dreamed of Paris and the Eiffel Tower since middle school. We traveled to Paris for the first half of our honeymoon! This was our first glimpse of La Tour Eiffel - it surely did not disappoint.

The Boogity Beat

One BIG Happy

Tradition

I think love letters written in the morning and exchanged with each other that day are delightful. You'll always have a reminder, in words, of that sweet, sweet love you share.

LEGO

Hank has been and always will be a lover of LEGO : ) Thus his groom's cake was to the theme of LEGO (plus our alma mater).

The customized bride & groom were the perfect & most fun touch!

I'm a Bustler, Baby

After a few bustling sessions, Laura & Amy were ready to lead the team to a bustling victory.

Pre & Post Bustle -

While in Paris I realized French style really is intense, and my French Bustle (above) stayed true to its roots.

There were tons of numbered ribbons beneath my dress that had to be matched and tied together in bows - It takes a bit! Teamwork certainly made it happen... It always does.

Hi Hubs!

What a visit to see Hank at his work entails...

Blog Lovin'

I love this post by one of my top three favorite blogettes, nutritionella.

It's about our wedding (cup)cake!

We had three (cup)cake flavors:

Plain Jane - Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream
Mint Condition - Chocolate Cake with Mint Buttercream
Pretty in Pink - Fresh Strawberry Cake with Strawberry Buttercream

Our Wedding Day

It was everything we wanted it to be.
It was all that I dreamed of.
Neither of us would change a thing.
