Lobsterface

I love that one single piece of furniture, or an accessory, can inspire an entire room. It's so important to decorate with pieces you yourself are obsessed with because then it will never go out of style. Like this nightstand... I am obsessed with it. I love that it is bright red.



What else is bright red? Lobsters! So of course a lobster pillow was necessary. This pillow makes me smile every time I walk by. Sometimes I even turn around and walk back by again... Just to see.



I was so excited that a nautical theme presented itself, because the perfect piece of art fit right in. This great piece by Hank when he was just a little boy. I'm pretty certain it's my favorite piece of art... ever. I just love it. It's even super detailed with merman muscles and nipples : ) I am so happy it fit perfectly in such a visible place in the room.



This room inspired me to dig around in the attic for my travel box. In it I found a lobster souvenir from a family trip to Maine. When you pull the string its claws start clapping. It's hanging on a chair - ready for you to come pull.
