I feel like the cookie monster sometimes, because I love cookies. I definitely got this from my Dad as my Mom has zero sweet tooth. I heart cupcakes too - they are too cute, like this one:
To start off Valentine's week, I made some Valentine's cookies. Here are some flamingo cookies I made too. I could not find hot pink sprinkles anywhere. Finally Wal-Mart provided, and their hot pink sprinkles had a pink flamingo on the package... It was meant to be.
Below are the Valentine's ones - paired with some funny vintage Valentine's I found. I made our friends Nick, Jen and Mister one too. This reminded me of how fun it was at school, and even when I worked at The Daily Tar Heel in college, to decorate a Valentine's box and anticipate all the fun Valentine's that would end up inside.
Hank decorated the heart on the far right. He had Valentine's spirit too.
