This past Sunday I had a little fun at my first Raleigh Blog Society event. Me along with seven other Raleigh bloggers enjoyed brunch at the office of Frill Clothing (you can learn all about Frill on Shark Tank Season 6 - their episode airs March 6). The whole time I really just wanted to try on all of Frill's colorful skirts... Not really... Okay kind of.
Our color palette was very Valentines. My charge: donuts with sprinkles. Rise came through for me BIG with their cronies (croissant-donuts). They typically only have pomegranate icing, but I BYOSed (brought my own sprinkles), and Rise made them look so good.
When one of your best friends is a calligrapher, you get to bring really pretty place cards.
I also brought along some of my favorite ASWN prints and that heart confetti too.
From mini chicken and waffles to rice krispie cake pops, we brunched on all things cute.
And of course no brunch is truly complete without a mimosa bar. Yes, please.
This happy little brunch was the perfect way to kick off Valentine's week. I love Valentine's Day for all that it is - a day to extra celebrate love, filled with all things pretty and girly - the colors, flowers and hearts - and all things sweet and adorable.
