Elements

Hold up! I'm sitting here wondering why I haven't been here before. Elements in Chapel Hill is so good. I dined there for lunch, and while pricey at $15 an entree, it was all things fresh - with a jam packed menu of my favorites. From a crab cake sandwich and oyster po boy to tuna tacos and pad thai, it was a tough call.

All of their lunch entrees are served with a tasty house salad with ginger dressing. And the presentation on everything - delightfully pretty.

As for my pick, I went the pad thai route with shrimp and scallops. I'd give it a solid A and would have a hard time trying something new (tuna tacos) the next time I'm back, but I'll do it (I think). As for my view on lunch prices, I always feel like I strike gold when I find a $5 lunch deal in Chapel Hill, which is totally doable in a college town, especially when we're talking hot dogs, burgers and pizza (Sutton's, EVOS, Carrboro Pizza Oven).
