Love & Be Loved

One of my favorite bloggers recently interviewed Regina Britt, author of God Never Blinks. She has some great insights (and has another book in the works):

What are some key aspects to having a strong and happy marriage?

The key aspect is to always give 100 percent. It's not 50/50. It's 100 percent from each person. And to keep the long view. Don't let the speed bumps throw you. My husband always says, "We're in this for the long haul."

What is the most important thing you can teach a child?

To love. To love themselves. To love the people around them. To be tender with all of life. My friend, Father Joe Zubricky, told me that in the end, the only thing that matters is this: Did you love? It's a great question to end every day with.
