Oh my Gaudi, Barcelona | Finale

Barcelona is exceptionally walkable, so we woke up on Sunday and walked. it. out. We walked the Block of Discord that features three colorful Modernista facades with the most wild one, Casa Batllo, being by none other than Gaudi.

Then we did the Ramblas Ramble where we walked down Barcelona's main boulevard. It's a super touristy promenade, but I will say you have to walk it at least once. It's a one-hour, downhill stroll so why not. We drank from the Fountain of Canaletes where legend says a drink from the fountain ensures you'll come back to Barcelona one day (2026!). The end of  La Rambla brings you to the waterfront - cue photo shoot.

The food in Barcelona is fantastic. One of my favorite tapas was none other than simple tomato bread (who knew bread smeared with tomatoes and olive oil could be that good).

The other was jamon iberico (shaved ham), and oh my goodness, it was ridiculous.

I learned that tourists only drink sangria not Spaniards, so I was introduced to tinto de verano which is wine with lemonade. Pitcher, please!

The most fun I was looking forward to all trip was discovering Barcelona on our classic sidecar motorcycle. This private tour was the way to go, and I'll never forget it.

We went everywhere... {Casa Mila (Gaudi!)}

{El Born}

{Old Port}

{Olympic Park}

{That's me!}

{Barceloneta Beach}

{Cuitadella Park}

I would recommend this to anyone and everyone - it really told the story of the city.

Barcelona will hold a special place, and I seriously can't wait to go back. Thanks, Gaudi!
