I spent a Saturday afternoon in downtown Cary. My friend May taught a modern hand lettering class at Cute Buttons Gift and Paper Boutique. We snacked on frosted cookies and moscato (obviously loved - mine are gone!) as we traced the word love and our name.
We then moved from tracing to practicing writing those same words and then took all we learned in the hour to make our final projects - a bookmark and two gift tags complete with glitter burlap ribbon and patterned washi tape.
Ta da!
After the class, May and I had some fun grabbing lunch at Serendipity and shopping around the cute shop The Purple Polka Dot. Oh, happy day!
