A couple of weekends back our friends Kathleen and Brad came to visit. We enjoyed dinner and a night out in Raleigh on Friday. We happened into one unfortunate bar that fortunately had skee-ball and cheap margaritas - two of my favorites - so I was quite content.
We were all looking forward to a Carolina game day on Saturday as I made one of my best craigslist finds to date - a tailgate pass in the heart of campus with lower level seats under the overhang. The under the overhang part was crucial as the monsoon that day was a bit wild. This was also a much improved find from when I got Hank and I tickets on the last row of the stadium in the blazing hot sun on the visitor's side - not my proudest moment.
Needless to say, we had the best time under our tailgate tent, right in front of the Bell Tower with Bojangles and close restrooms. We were up close and personal for the Old Well Walk, and we had a great bunch tailgating next to us, so all in all a fab time despite the rain.
