This weekend I enjoyed...
Happy Hour on Franklin Street with coworkers at Top of the Hill. I tried their Hugh Morton Mango Lager (subtle mango flavor with low hop bitterness), and it truly was patio perfect.
Hank and I Date Night dined outdoors at Humble Pie. We ordered up these small plates: Spicy Shrimp + Avocado (buffalo style), Ricotta & Butternut Squash Stuffed Conchiglioni (charred tomato, roasted garlic cream sauces, fried capres, garlic chips), Tuna Tostada (marinated cabbage, rare seared ahi tuna, wasabi mayo, sweet soy, tobiko) and Chicken Enchiladas (tomatilla salsa verde, spinach, tomatoes, sour cream). The stuffed conchiglioni & tuna tostada will be ordered again next time plus two new plates & mas margaritas.
Saturday Hank and his friend Adam brewed beers, Bentley met and played with his new friend Miller and my friend Kat and I played around town. We went to a book sale, Furbish Studio, enjoyed lunch and drinks at Mellow Mushroom and brought back sweet treats to share... Homemade ice cream sandwiches (with sprinkles!) from The Cupcake Shoppe - I highly recommend. My purchases of the day were this really cute Katniss Cuff and a Lucite Ice Bucket. We ended the afternoon with some back porch relaxing on a beautiful day.
Sunday was for taking care of business while Bentley enjoyed a bone as big as himself. Love!
