It's a settee! I love the curves of this piece, the solid woodwork at the bottom - It's furniture perfection to me. Well... This settee was curbed by a designer! Can you believe it? Curbed. I still can't believe it. The first person who picked it up got to take it home... Ready, GO! I took my mom with me, and we hightailed it 45 minutes to pick this up. We arrived 30 seconds just in time to take home this beautiful & free settee. Well butter my butt & call me a biscuit!
The AFTER of my absolute favorite find of 2011:
The sight of this still makes me squeal with excitement! It took about a month to have this completely cleaned, gutted and reupholstered. A fresh coat of semi-gloss white paint & fabulous new fabric brought life to an already fantastic find. This settee, along with the light blue solid wood coffee table on the left (a $20 craigslist find), completes our sitting room. This area is a part of our master bedroom, and it's certainly blossomed into a fun retreat.
