All that glitters is... The Eiffel Tower

The number one thing I wanted to do in Paris was picnic beneath the Eiffel Tower at night, during the light show. We did this on the first night of our honeymoon, and it's a memory I will always treasure.

Tres romantique!

Water for Elephants - French Style

McDonald's = Free WiFi

When in Rome, right? When in Rome do as the Romans do.

When in France eat FRENCH fries!

We wanted to let our families know we arrived safely, so the purchase of these fries equaled free WiFi for us to do so. Their fries even have their own special fry sauce, Pommes-Frites-Sauce, AND the French call McDonald's chez MacDo... I love it!!

Laduree

I've mentioned 'Paris' international temple of macaron holiness' here before.

These little babies absolutely lived up to all of their hype - We went for them twice!

Rue Cler

Oh how I love rue Cler. It's certainly one of my favorite streets in Paris. It's lined with many shops selling wine, fromage (cheese), chocolats, baguettes, fleurs and the likes. It's traffic-free, and it's perfectly quaint.

We walked rue Cler gathering items for our Parisian picnic by night! We of course got hungry along the way... We had lunch at Cafe du Marche with the locals. It was packed!

We dined on two Parisian staples, Beef Tartar & Duck. Beef Tartar (above) is one of my new favorite dishes - it's finely chopped raw beef... Yum!

Bon Appetit!
